Pro Audio Design appointed as exclusive distributor of TAD Laboratories Inc. for US & Canada

Hanover, MA. October 25th, 2021: Japanese high-end audio manufacturer Technical Audio Devices Laboratories, Inc. (TADL) has appointed Professional Audio Design, Inc. (PAD) as the exclusive distributor of TADL products in the United States and Canada.

Based in Boston, PAD has been a leading provider of professional audio products and services for almost 30 years, offering a wide range of products and constituting one of the largest dealers and manufacturers of speaker products using TADL Professional components in its own-brand Augspurger studio monitors.

TADL’s appointment of PAD is expected to strengthen the supply chain by enabling local stock of TAD Professional audio products, speaker components and replacement parts for improved delivery in the U.S. and Canada as well as providing enhanced customer service through PAD’s talented team of experts in the audio industry. The TAD Hi-Fi range will also be sold through its newly established authorized hi-fi dealer network.

Having built studios for artists and professionals for three decades, PAD will bring its knowledge and expertise to the Hi-Fi market and help audiophiles have better-sounding spaces for TADL’s amazing speaker systems.

PAD President, Dave Malekpour said, “We are thrilled to be working with TADL. Our aim is to develop a carefully curated dealer roster for TAD Hi-Fi products in the US and Canada, breathing new life into their product lines, including bringing new models such as the new Evolution Two Series TAD-E2. We will also be developing a consistent delivery schedule for TAD components to the pro market, working closely with dealers, consumers and OEM manufacturers to give feedback to TADL for new product development.”

PAD (with Distro Pro Audio) will be exhibiting the TADL range of products, including the TAD Compact Reference One CR1TX, Evolution-1TX and Micro Evolution ME-1tx at the Capital Audio Fest in Washington DC November 5-8 (located in Plaza III) and New York Audio Show, December 3-4.
